Non-executive Chair
Peter Carnahan (BCom, FCA, CFInstD) joined the Delta board in August 2022 and was appointed Chair in October 2022. Peter is a Chartered Accountant who was in Public Practice in Invercargill before moving into executive roles with large privately owned family businesses that have diversified interests across the country. Peter has also been appointed a director and chair of companies across a range of sectors including previously Corde Ltd owned by the Selwyn District Council and currently Invercargill City Holdings Ltd. Peter has a BCom from the University of Otago is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
Non-executive Director
Steven Grave joined the Delta Board in July 2017. He is a professional engineer with more than 35 years’ experience in civil engineering and 21 years’ experience in the contracting industry. Previously Steven has held a senior leadership role with Fulton Hogan. Currently he owns his own consulting practice and is on the board of Whitestone Contracting, SICON and Buller Holdings.
Non-executive Director
Tony Allison (BCom, BA, CA, CM.Inst.D) joined the Delta Board in November 2017. He is an experienced chief executive with a long working history in finance and the retail industry. Previous roles have included Finance Director of a London law firm and Chief Operating Officer at Calder Stewart Industries. He is currently the chief executive of Smiths City and a board director of the Dunedin International Airport. Tony has a BCom and BA from the University of Otago and is both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.
Non-executive Director
Jane George (MBA (Cranfield, UK), FRICS, BSc) joined the Delta Board in November 2021. She has experience working in the construction and infrastructure sectors delivering major projects both in New Zealand and internationally. She was a Project Director for Beca Limited and led the consulting project delivery and strategy team in Christchurch, until she relocated to Otago in 2016. She currently sits on the Boards of Invercargill Airport Limited and A.G. Foleys Limited as an independent director and runs her own niche consultancy practice.
