Brian Wood (MBA (Otago), FNZIM, CF.Inst.D) joined the Delta Board in December 2016 and was appointed Chair in July 2017. Brian is an experienced professional director, and has held positions in a range of private and public sector roles. He has had experience in the civil engineering and energy sectors particularly in electricity distribution network companies. He was managing director Asia Pacific for the global civil engineering consultancy MWH, and held a director’s role at Dunedin City Holding Limited. Brian is an accredited company director, a fellow of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, and a fellow of the NZ Institute of Management.
Trevor Kempton (BE Hons, MEngNZ, FMZIM,CMInstD) joined the delta Board in October 2013. He is a professional Engineer with 45 years experience in Civil and environmental Engineering, construction and business. He was managing director of Naylor Love until his retirement in 2010 but remains involved with the Company as Board Chair. Trevor was a founding director and consultant to Constructing Excellence(NZ) and in 2019 finished three terms as an Otago Regional Councillor. He is a past Chair of Choirs Aotearoa New Zealand and is currently chair of the Dunedin Arts Festival and Engineering Heritage (Otago)
Steven Grave joined the Delta Board in July 2017. He is a professional engineer with more than 35 years’ experience in civil engineering and 21 years’ experience in the contracting industry. Previously Steven has held a senior leadership role with Fulton Hogan. Currently he owns his own consulting practice and is on the board of Whitestone Contracting, SICON and Buller Holdings.
Tony Allison (BCom, BA, CA, CM.Inst.D) joined the Delta Board in November 2017. He is an experienced chief executive with a long working history in finance and the retail industry. Previous roles have included Finance Director of a London law firm and Chief Operating Officer at Calder Stewart Industries. He is currently the chief executive of Smiths City and a board director of the Dunedin International Airport. Tony has a BCom and BA from the University of Otago and is both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.
