Delta designs, constructs and maintains storage, treatment and reticulation systems for drinking water including installation of above- and below-ground pipeline.

Installation and inspection of underground services is potentially disruptive for businesses and residents. That’s why we offer trenchless pipe installation, horizontal drilling and pipe-cracking - the simultaneous cracking of old pipes while pulling through new ones.

We inspect, clean and maintain pipes, sumps and septic tanks, offering 24/7 response services to get services back on as quickly as possible. We use the latest closed-circuit television technology for trenchless inspection of underground pipe systems.

And because water is too precious to waste, we offer a full water metering installation and reading service for water suppliers to monitor usage, plan for demand changes, spot leaks and help domestic and commercial users reduce wastage.

Deep Creek Water Main

Replacement of pivotal water main providing over half of Dunedin’s drinking water, installation of four kilometres of 375mm cement-lined steel pipe through hard schist rock with connection achieved within a tight 24-hour turnaround to maintain drinking water.

Dunedin to Karitane Water Pipeline

Construction and installation of 27 kilometres of 150mm high-density polyethylene pipeline from Dunedin to Karitane to bring top quality drinking water to the city’s northern suburbs, including installation alongside busy State Highway, over bridges and creeks and under the main railway line using trenchless directional drilling to avoid any disruption to train services

Alexandra Reservoir

Resealing of Alexandra’s 4.5 million litre drinking water reservoir including draining tank, repairing joints and cracks with high-strength resin, re-filling and sanitising tank, checking for leaks, draining, refilling and finally double-checking for leaks before reconnection

Central Otago Water Metering

Installation of water meters at all urban properties connected to municipal supplies to enable Council to monitor usage and growing demand, spot leaks and help residents reduce wastage in this dry climate, ongoing water meter reading

Dunedin Commercial Water Metering

Meter reading for more than 4,000 water meters for non-domestic water users including industrial, horticultural and high-end users such as the hospital, university and swimming pool
