We offer a full range of roading construction, repair and maintenance services including excavation, road construction, grading, kerbing and channelling, sealing and asphalting.

We have the necessary experience, skills and equipment to handle any type of road construction or maintenance project – big or small - from highways to suburban roading and driveways, bridges, retaining walls and car parks, heavy vehicle crossings, roundabouts, median strips, pedestrian orientation and paving.

Our expertise includes a wide variety of types of roading and pavement material, wall construction, drainage, landscaping, horticultural and verge maintenance and weed control.

As infrastructure specialists we offer the complete package, from civil works construction to stormwater and drainage systems, street lighting and traffic signal systems, paint and thermoplastic road marking.

We take our responsibility as the public face of the road owner seriously and act considerately. Delta has the traffic management knowledge and hardware to ensure the safety of the public and our people and minimise disruption to road users.

Our skilled, experienced people can apply smart, practical thinking to safety improvement projects, such as road widening, roundabout construction and traffic signal systems.

In urban environments, we install street furniture - such as benches, bollards, fencing and handrails, rubbish and recycling bins - construct kerbs, channels and footpaths.

And we build new driveways at your home, including installing foundations or putting in new vehicle access from the road to your front door. If you are just wanting to fix the potholes we also repair and resurface existing driveways.

In rural areas, we build private access roads to your farm or home and build and maintain forestry roading.

South Dunedin Footpaths

Footpath surfacing and reconstruction consisting of 68,250 square metres of asphalt and 12,350 square metres of slurry surfacing and involving liaison with residents and businesses to minimise disruption

Anderson’s Bay Causeway

Bridge extension and repairs to causeway bridge spanning an inlet including significant scaffolding, traffic control measures and environmental measures to ensure concrete and protective coatings did not enter the harbour

Seal Point Road Seal Extension

Widening and sealing of approximately 1,800 square metres of narrow gravel road on the Otago Peninsula, including project management, road widening, water table construction, tree removal, pavement construction, sealing, road marking, drainage, earthworks, installation of associated signage and deconstruction and reconstruction of a historic dry stone wall

Otago Harbour Seawalls

Repair and construction of protective sea walls in harsh marine environment, working in collaboration with archaeologists to maintain integrity of historic sites during reconstruction

Southland Road Marking

Road marking in Invercargill and northwest and southeast Southland, maintaining Council-controlled roads and involving both A-type (line) marking and B-type marking (directions and pedestrian crossings)
