New look for Delta as infrastructure specialist seeks new growth opportunities

17 November 2011
Today, Delta launched a fresh new look as it takes up significant growth opportunities in the infrastructure sector.
Chief Executive Grady Cameron said the infrastructure specialist Delta was well-positioned to take up growth opportunities in New Zealand, and overseas, in the energy, waste, water, communications, transport and land infrastructure sectors.
“The new look is the next step on Delta’s growth path as we expand and diversify our business and take up the significant challenges to improve, renew and expand the country’s infrastructure.
“Delta makes a difference in people’s everyday lives. We bring smart thinking to infrastructure investment, management, operation and maintenance.
“A recent infrastructure report estimated New Zealanders collectively owned more than $115 billion of infrastructure assets. The quality and reliability of that infrastructure is fundamental to our social and economic well-being.
“As an organisation, we are energised about the potential to make a significant contribution to New Zealand’s future prosperity and the quality of life of the communities in which we operate.
“As we seek new opportunities, we’ll have a new, modern look that better reflects who we are.
“We are also having a different conversation with new and existing customers. Often infrastructure services go unnoticed. We want customers to know about the full range of expertise we can apply to infrastructure projects.
“Not only are we specialists in the sectors we work, but we are in a unique position to combine many skills to get the job done, and done well. Our customers value our ability to provide an integrated, complete and well thought out solution.
“For the year ending 30 June 2011, we achieved record revenues of $103.7 million, up $16.7 million on the previous year, and net profit of $5.4 million, up $2.9 million on the previous year.
“Those results reflect the early success of our long-term growth plans and our ability to provide customers with the smart thinking and the reliable, quality services they demand,” said Mr Cameron.
