International Applicants
Delta welcomes international applications as part of our diverse workforce, however many of our overseas employees are required to have a proven track record of skills, qualifications and experience. If you are not a resident or citizen of New Zealand or Australia, but are considering employment here then it is important that you read this information.
If you are from overseas you will need to obtain a work permit to be employed by Delta. It is preferred that obtain your work permit before applying, as you will be asked to provide evidence that you are legally able to work in New Zealand as part of the recruitment application form.
For information about permits visit Immigration New Zealand.
As an employer, where possible, we will support your application for visa. With our current commitment to the Christchurch Rebuild, we are able to provide assistance for skilled roles. Additional roles do appear on the New Zealand Immigration skills shortage list. To be eligible for consideration you must have solid experience and all the relevant qualifications.
In all cases, whether it be a working holiday or sponsorship visa, you must supply evidence of your final work permit before you can commence employment. It is recommended that you do this at the time of your application or as soon as practical thereafter. If you have successfully secured a job offer then you will need to bring along your passport to sign up, and supply evidence of the work permit as part of the sign up process. Failure to show evidence will result in the offer of employment being revoked.
For information about the various types of work visas that may be available to you depending on your personal circumstances, please refer to Immigration New Zealand for details.
